FAVORITES

This are my two favorite recent photos. One was taken a couple weeks ago when it snowed. Its my friends little brother and sister. I upped the contrast to make it brighter and the colors stand out more.------The second one is my friends little brother. I made the picture black and white except the words on the hat.

E- WEEk

I didnt take an eweek class so this is what i did for the week. sleep. it was awesome. i upped the contrast on this picture a little and brightened it up.

MANY FACES

the theme of my many faces project is family. I took multiply pictures of my family and made a collage. Then I took a separate picture of myself taking there pictures. Theses are the many faces of the people i love the most.

CLICHE

THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG is a Cliche meaning that only that start or smallest part of something can be seen. This picture i took in Alaska represents that well because it is literally the tip of an iceberg.

FAMILY TRADITIONS

my family tradition is FAMILY HIKING TRIPS :) this is my dad on our last trip together. i choose this picture to represent our tradition because you can see that he is wearing a big backpack, which is what all whole family does every year. i really like how my dad is the main thing in focus and the rest is slightly blurry. i also like that he is positioned off to the side... it just makes the picture more interesting.

TIMES OF DAY

morning - i took this picture on my family vacation to alaska. you can tell its morning because it not to bright and the water is still.

afternoon - i took this picture with a self timer in my cousins backyard in seattle. you can tell its afternoon because its very bright out.. meaning the suns up.

night - this was also taken in Alaska. the colors of the sky let you know that its night because the sun is setting. i upped the saturation just slightly.

PASSION

this past saturday i got a job taking pictures at a friends wedding. this is one a really liked. i think a bride and groom on their wedding day is a great example of passion. i upped the brightness and contrast a little on this. leave thoughts.

JUXTAPOSE

i choose this picture because the blue flower next to the red flower really makes each one stand out more. i think its a good example of opposites. this was taken in my kitchen.

PORTRAITS

this is one of my moms friends, Margy. I took this picture on a hike with her and my mom. I added a green tint to the photo and upped the contract a little bit. I thought this would bring out the green in her eyes and on all the trees.

this is my mom. i took the background out of this picture because it was really busy and distracted from her. i also changed the color to have a pink tint and i swirled around the edge of the picture just for fun. i love my mom : )

MOTION

this are my motion pictures. the kayaking one was taking in alaska at 9pm. the lighting and quick shutter speed made this picture turn out nicely. the train on was also taken in alaska with a quick shutter speed, and the handstand stand picture was in my cousins backyard. i think the angle from above made this picture look cool. leave comments.

TWO FAVORITES OF MINE

alright, these are some of my favorite picture because of the beauty of nature and the vibrant colors. the flower one i took in alaska on a vacation and the cloudy lake one is from a hike i took a while ago in estes. the bright sun one both these days made them turn out pretty good i think.

MY JOURNEY SO FAR

this picture sorta describes my life journey because some parts are more interesting than others, and some parts might be darker than others, but when you look at it over all it pretty dang good.
